Club Handbol Marratxí has a new coach

Handbol Marratxí bets on Fernando González in its new club project.

This new and renewed project of Handbol Marratxí will count on the experience of the Cantabrian coach who will manage the sports department of the club and its first team.

The care of the grassroots, the promotion of handball with a club philosophy and a clear playing identity are aspects that Fernando will work on.

A psychologist by training, he complements the physical-technical part. With the title of Master Coach EHF Handball and national handball coach.

The coach has extensive experience in the Division of Honour as a coach and assistant coach in teams such as Sinfín, Club BM. Castro, passing through different teams in the Arab Emirates such as Al Jazira and Al Sahaab.

Second coach of the national team of the Arab Emirates, he has also been coach of Colombia and of all the lower categories of the Colombian national team, working in the recruitment of talent and promotion of handball in the South American country.

Aged 44, he comes from the Italian Serie A where he has been coach of Handball Erice, being a man who believes in the care of the base and the training of coaches to develop an ambitious project in Mallorca.

Throughout his career he has won different titles, promotions and achievements that endorse his signing with the Mallorcan club.

The Mallorcan club is taking a step forward in this new project to renew its grassroots and first team sporting structure in a project in which it wishes to count on “Nando” in the long term.

The new coach is already working on the project for the 22/23 season, he knows the sporting talent of Spanish and international handball, with special interest in having players from Mallorca in this new stage.

The club continues to work to provide greater sporting criteria and relevance to the project with the possible incorporation of a manager.

In the next few days we will be announcing the renewals and new additions to the club’s first team.
